Activate MTN 100% Double Data Bonus Without IMEI Tweak...

How To Activate New MTN Double Data Offer

Go to you SMS message app,
1. Send DOUBLE to 131
2. Send PROMO to 131
3. Send FREE to 131

You will receive three messages from MTN.

  • First message: "Your request has been received" 
  • Second message: "You have sent an invalid command" 
  • Third message: "Dear Customer, enjoy Data offers on MTN Deal Zone, Dial *131*1#
After receiving the third message, you can now purchase your data plan by dialling *131*1# and enjoy your double bonus


To check your data balance dial *131*4# or send 2 to 131 to check your data and bonus data balance.

NOTE: The third message is what determines if your SIM is eligible or not. Once you receive the third message, you can start with small data plans such as the 50mb for N100 and check the balance, if the bonus is there, you can proceed to other bigger plans. If it wasn't given, don't spend more money. 

The double data bonus is applicable only to data plan purchased through *131*1# or by sending a command or USSD to 131.
