Okorocha - Governor Imo state Reveals Statue of Johnson-Sirleaf

The statue was unveiled at Ikemba Ojukwu Square in Owerri, the capital of the state, next to the bronze medal of South African President Jacob Zuma, who won Okorocha's public condemnation during his October presentation.

Liberian President arrived in Owerri on Thursday, November 9, for a two-day working visit, and he was at the Governor's Rochas Foundation college of Africa on Friday morning.

She praised the foundations of the governor, noting that he was the best she had ever seen in all of her travels.

She said, "I've traveled all over the world and have traveled all over Africa, I've never experienced anything like this: I've seen African leaders who build schools, roads, scholarships, and so on.

"I have not seen any of them by ordinary bringing together African children in need of our country, gathering in our family, sharing together, I will remercie.Il no other better way to fight poverty and to preach unity. "

The first elected female head of state in Africa was also honored with the chieftaincy tittle of Ada di Ohanma of Igboland at Eze Imo's Palace led by the Chairman of the state Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Samuel Ohiri.
According to Ohiri, the Liberian title leader was a way of encouraging him and other African women who contributed to the development of Africa, especially the education of poor African children.
A road to Owerri was also named after the president.
